Our first finished fibreglass sphere is named Melody. She has a vibrant yellow fibreglass exterior with a mural that definitely catches the eye. To get to Melody, you stroll over a short bridge, then climb a few stairs that spiral around a tree. Melody has the same volume as Eryn, but with a completely different interior. Her black walnut interior has a spacious open living concept. She has 5 windows, including a sky light, a small sink, cupboards with dishes, purified water and everything you need for making tea and coffee.
Melody has bench seats under the large windows and two tables that fold down to make work stations. She has a murphy bed that comes out of the back wall creating a bedroom at night. Her comfy duvet covered double bed sleeps two people. She is electrically heated with a thermostat on the wall. Many accent cupboards and adjustable lighting enable you to set the mood. She has a private electric composting outhouse adjacent to the sphere. Melody is wired for 120V AC and has built in speakers for those who wish to bring their own digital devices.
She is lovely for overnight stays and perfect for longer stays as a working studio for artists, musicians and writers looking for creative studio space. Check Availability for Melody.

We do our best to update this calendar twice per day. We deal with many booking requests each day, however, so we cannot guarantee that what is marked in gold is still available. Check in time on day of arrival is 3 pm, and check out time on day of departure is 11:00 am.

Minimum of a two day stay on weekends. We offer $100 off for the second night. This could be either check-in on Friday and check-out on Sunday or check-in on Saturday and check-out on Monday.
Rental Policies Guest ServicesAll Bookings are made by phone at, 250-757-9445, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Weekend Rental Policy
We are trying to leave the opportunity for people to be able to rent two nights on the weekends as this has been the most common request. Once guests are able to book their two nights on a weekend then we are able to open the remaining night up as a single night rental. If there is no 2 day booking on any particular weekend as little as 4 days before the weekend we will accept single night bookings on that weekend.
Cancellation Policy
Each booking requires a non-refundable deposit of $150/sphere night plus tax. Once a booking is made, the cancellation policy is in effect.
For cancellations made within two weeks of a booked date, 60% of the full price of the booking is charged. For cancellations made within two days of a booked date, the full price of the booking is charged.
Re-Booking Policy
Once a booking is made, we offer a one day grace period wherein a single schedule change may be made free of charge. Bookings rescheduled after this grace period are subject to an administration fee of $25. For example, if we take your booking on November 17th, you have until the end of the day on November 18th to reschedule your booking free of charge.
Children Policy
Due to liability insurance, we are an adult only facility. 16 years and over.
Smoking Policy
Smoking or Vaping of any substance is not permitted in the spheres”. If you stink the sphere up with tobacco or marijuana products or butts you will be charged an extra cleaning fee.
Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed in any of the spheres. Competent, reliable pet sitters are available.
GUEST SERVICES
We are located on a 5 acre private property near Qualicum Bay, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
The beautiful property has a large pond in the centre which attracts birds and other wildlife, enhancing one’s commune with the forest and Mother Nature herself.
We provide everything you need, just bring your toiletries.

Conventional Bathroom
Located approximately 50m from the base of your sphere, there is a central heated bathhouse, with a private toilet, sink and shower for your comfort and convenience.

Snacks and Tea & Coffee
A complimentary snack is provided upon arrival and we provide all the fixings for tea and coffee. NOTE: We do not provide breakfast.

Power, Speakers and WiFi
There are built in speakers if you wish to bring your own media devices… the perfect opportunity to experience true surround sound. There is also WiFi on the property, although the signal varies. The Bathhouse deck is usually a safe bet.

Sauna, Barbecue and Galley Kitchen
In the “Cook House” adjacent to the “Bath House”, there is a sauna and small galley kitchen, including a sink, microwave, mini-fridge and an assortment of basic kitchen implements. There is also a covered deck and a barbecue. These facilities are shared by all guests.

A composting toilet outhouse is located at the base of each sphere.
